This program does not provide crisis or emergency assistance. If you are experiencing problems with your mood, are feeling suicidal or need to speak with someone urgently, we suggest you use the following organisations to get immediate assistance. You can always come back to the Family and Friend Support Program when you are able.

Information about ice

If you would like information about ice, the following sites and contact lines are available.

  • Cracks in the Ice is an online toolkit providing information and resources about ice or crystal methamphetamine including where and when to get help.

  • The Help Line – 1800 ICE ADVICE (1800 423 238) – will direct users and families to the treatment and support services they need, and provide general information to the community about ice and its effects.
  • Breaking the Ice is an online program to engage with 16 to 25 year olds who are using or thinking about using ice
